Let There Be Light! – In Your Parking Lot
Let there be light! Not the most uncommon phrase we’ve heard. However, how much more powerful is this saying, when we don’t have electricity. Often times when you think of having light, you think of your home, or your office. The reality is though, what could possibly be considered the most important light, is the one that guides you at night. What we are talking about here, is having a well lit parking lot. Why is this so important? Let’s name a few reasons as to why parking lot lighting is so important.
- Consideration. If you own your own business, providing your employees with a well lit parking lot is just plain considerate. Not only does it enable them to reach their vehicles safely, but it makes them feel secure as well.
- Protection. Not only do we want to look out our employees, but ourselves as well. The world we live in is getting more and more dangerous, why take the chance? A well lit environment can possibly prevent burglaries as well as violence.
- Safety. We can feel quite ridiculous when we trip on something in broad day light. However, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that you’d trip on something if you aren’t able to see it. By allowing adequate lighting, you are in turn allowing yourselves and others to see their surroundings more clearly.
Let’s be honest, these are pretty great reasons to have bright lights in your parking lot.
